This policy explains how NovaMagnolia uses cookies and similar technologies on this website, and how you can control them. Last updated 1 January 2026.
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over a period of time, so that you do not have to re-enter them each time you visit. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way and are covered by this policy.
We use cookies to make this website work, to remember the choices you make, to understand how visitors use our pages so we can make route information clearer, and — only with your consent — to measure the effectiveness of our announcements.
These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They include the cookie that stores your consent choices. They do not collect information that identifies you personally.
These cookies are optional and are used only if you allow them through our cookie banner or the cookie settings panel. You can change your choices at any time, and your decision will be applied from that moment on.
Some cookies may be set by third-party services we use, such as analytics providers or embedded fonts. These providers process information according to their own privacy policies. We choose providers that offer appropriate safeguards and limit their use of data.

NovaMagnolia does not currently run analytics or advertising scripts on this website, even though the categories above leave room for them. The only data we keep in your browser is the choice you made in the cookie banner, stored in local storage under a key beginning with “wh_consent_”. It lets us respect your decision on every page, from the route list to the Walking Club page, without asking again.
If we add a tool in future — for example, to see which city routes are opened most — it will remain off until you allow that category, and the table below will be updated first.
Our typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. To show them, your browser contacts Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and browser details. This does not set a cookie and Google states it does not use the information for advertising, but it is the one third-party connection every page makes, so we list it here.
Buying a route pack or joining the Walking Club does not add any cookie beyond the consent record described above. Your order and membership details are kept in our own records, as explained in the Privacy Policy, not in your browser. Clearing your browser data will reset your cookie choice but will not cancel a membership or remove a route pack you have already received by email.
Your cookie choice is saved separately in each browser you use. If you check a route on your phone during the commute and later open the Walking Club page on a laptop at home, the banner will ask once more on the laptop, and you can answer differently there if you like. Using a private or incognito window also starts fresh each time. Nothing about your choice is sent to us, so we cannot apply it across your devices for you — but it also means no record of your browsing is held anywhere except on the device itself.
